Since many years, the Atlas-CPPM group is involved in fruitful scientific cooperation programs with many EU and non EU countries. In addition to technical cooperation such as for the pixel detector, the LAr calorimeter, the High Level trigger system or for the LHC grid deployement, numerous cooperations were also initiated to prepare for the best the Atlas data taking. The earliest cooperations date the 90s in particular with Hungary, Morocco, Russia and Romania. Since then, cooperations have also started with Czech Republic, USA, and also especially P.R. China. In this last case, this cooperation has helped in the creation of the France-China laboratory, FCPPL, which administrative headquarter is at CPPM. Those cooperations are now mainly aimed at the group scientific program and more particularly at the preparation and the analysis of the first ATLAS data. Several co-PhD are strengthening those cooperation programs as well as regular senior physicist visits from and to foreign cooperating labs for several months to a year period. Those cooperation programs are very active and lead to numerous contribution in ATLAS meetings.
