MC simulation of Lorentz angle for test beam

The results of the comparison of the actual test beam simulation GEANT3 with experimental test beam results:

  • Description of the MC parameters and data used.
  • Comparison of the multiplicity distributions for different angles without magnetic field with the MC threshold of 2300 e.
  • Comparison of the multiplicity distributions for different angles with magnetic field of 1.4 Tesla with the MC threshold of 2300 e. Under each distribution the value of the MC azimuthal angle and the value of the Kolmogorov probability is indicated.
  • Comparison of the mean multiplicities for different angles with and without magnetic field of 1.4 Tesla with the MC threshold of 2300 e. The chi2 is calculated assuming the systematic error in the angle of one degree.
  • Comparison of the chi2 and mean Kolmogorov probability for different MC values of the mean Lorentz angle. The chi2 is calculated assuming the systematic error in the angle of one degree. The mean Kolmogorov probability is the average for 9 distributions.
