Modelling the descoped geometry of pixel layer 2

Abstract:

Following the discussions on March 1996 ATLAS week and the proposals of T.Mouthuy and P.Delpierre i simulated the descoped version of the pixel detector with the second layer at the radius of 14.2 cm instead of 15.9 cm. This note is periodically updated to include the latest calculations and evolution of the software (see the date of the last update).
